George Schwarzbartl donated more than a hundred photos to the Sosua Virtual Museum. His parents Hans and Alice lived in Sosua several years. Then they moved to Santiago. Hans was a Mechanical Engineer. He built on top of a truck the first bus structure that was used to transport passengers from Santiago to Puerto Plata and Sosua. He also owned Gas Stations. Hans, Alice, Ralph and George spent with the Sosua community most of the High Holly Days as well as summer vacations.
Welcome to the Sosúa Virtual Museum, a living memorial of those who created a Jewish community in a small town of the Dominican Republic named Sosúa.
