Don’t worry about editing, writing style, or using Spanish or German words in your paragraphs. We will edit your contribution, and then email it to you for your approval prior to posting it on the website. Please remember that the information you provide (including your photos, audio, and video) will be displayed and forever available to view on our website, www.sosuamuseum.org, so that the world can always remember Sosúa as it was in the years 1940 – 1980.

In this section, please mention the following:
LIFE IN EUROPE
Describe what their life was like in Europe as children, including family life, hobbies, likes and dislikes, and anything else you would like to add about their lifestyle. You may also want to mention any important or funny stories from their youth.
ROUTE TO SOSUA
Describe the route they used to reach Sosúa. Please mention the name of the ship or ships (if more than one) and arrival harbors.
LIFE IN TRANSIT (If applicable)
Describe briefly their life if they stopped elsewhere (e.g. Shanghai, USA) before arriving in Sosúa.
LIFE IN SOSUA
Describe their life in Sosúa: where they lived in Sosúa (for example, Batey, Bombita, etc.; if they lived in more than one place, please mention all), what their occupations were (for example, manager, nurse, teacher, etc.), if any of them were single, whether they got married, if any got divorced, whether they remarried, and so on.
LIFE AFTER SOSUA (If applicable)
If they left Sosúa, where and when did they go? How was life for them after Sosúa? Did they miss Sosúa?
Additional information can be added to illustrate their lives before, during, and after Sosúa. You can mention their daily life, entertainments, parties, hobbies, favorite recipes, etc.

5- PHOTO GALLERY
Please send us all the photos that you consider representative of their life in Sosúa. There is no limit on the number of photos you may publish. Each photo needs a caption, or a photo name that we can use as caption. You may prefer to mail them to us so that we can scan them and mail them back to the address you provide us. Just let us know your preference by email and we will send you detailed instructions.

If you need to send us a large number of photos, please use www.wetransfer.com to send them. Other free software is available on the internet for mass transfer of media. If you need help with this, please contact me.

6- AUDIO/VIDEO GALLERIES
If you have audio interviews of the settlers, we can also publish them in our Audio Gallery or Video Gallery. You can send us a digital copy of any audio or video. Please don’t send us original tapes or film since we don’t have the capability to convert them to digital format.
